Do the Twist

Today we are trying out a simple twisted braid!
This twist would be easiest on longer hair, but could work for shorter styles as well.

I think the twist braid is the perfect style for Spring & Summer. It's a bit more modern & professional than a traditional braid, and I think it would be a great style for work during the upcoming warmer months.

To get this look, all you need is small elastic band!

How to do the Twist

1. Pull your hair to one side, as though you were going to pull it into a ponytail
2. Split your hair into two large pieces and begin to twist each piece TOWARD your face (It takes some practice to be able to twist both pieces at the same time.. You can try twisting one piece first and holding it while you twist the other one)
3. Once both pieces are twisted, wrap the twists together AWAY from your face.  The twists need to be wrapped together in the opposite way they are twisted, or else the braid wont stay.  (You could twists each piece away from your face and wrap them together toward your face.. All that matters is that they are opposite)
4. Use a small rubber band to secure the bottom.
5. If you have any pieces that fell out of the twist, carefully bobby pin them into the back of the twist & DONE!

Thanks so much for reading!
